I had a big day today with Candy - a long (for us) bike ride. It was an hour’s drive to get to the trail. We went the whole way on the Rail 66 trail which is 13 miles to the end and back again - 26 miles in all. Today is her birthday - 66. So we did 66 on her 66th - I thought that was cool.

Today was the day that we needed to go to Clarion so Rainy could get her stitches out. All went well with that - she healed up super nicely. Afterwards we stopped by to visit Chloe at her work - just to see her in her new office, and give her a hug. This weekend is her and Mike's one year wedding anniversary. I hope they do something fun. I took my tent down yesterday. That felt like a milestone of the year. I probably could have waited till later but I really have not been using it since we have the back porch with the dog fence now. I find I would rather sit on the porch with the dogs than alone in my tent. I even have a cushion on the back porch for naps so that is covered. But, ( Read more... )

Doctor David said I do have a broken toe but it will probably start to feel better in about a week. Take it easy! And I do have a heel spur and there are exercises I should do. Good morning. Raining. The rain started yesterday. We have new weather now - colder. All the windows are shut and I was chilly in bed last night till Dave got there.
